About MeOther Links Best Research in Record Labels or Manufacturers |
I was born in Kidderminster, Worcestershire
in 1956, the son of a professional English County Cricketer. I was playing music in various outfits in and around Blackburn, Lancashire where my family had moved to in 1964. As I turned professional, my scribblings were put on hold for a number of years. My musical career took me all over the
world on cruise liners including SS Calypso, MS Leonid Sobinov, Cunard
Princess, SS Black Watch, MS Mikhail Lermantov. I picked up my pen again in the early
1990s and write regularly for Memory Lane Magazine on the subject of
gramophones and records. |
